Few organizations endure such a long history without making a substantial impact

Family Independence is imbued with a rich and notable history. We were originally established as a division of Family Service of Greater Boston, an organization that itself served the Boston Area for well over 175 years. Due to that rich heritage, we are deeply embedded in the community that we serve.

Few organizations endure such a long history without making a substantial impact. Family Independence helps children and families facing life's most difficult challenges. With your support, we can continue changing lives and making a lasting impact on the greater Boston community. We are a 501(c)(3) organization. All donations are tax deductible.
